Driving the North Fork
We are based in Calverton, which puts us at the top of the North Fork rather than driving out to it. For wine tours that matters — the car is there when the day starts, and the first tasting is not an hour of highway.
A tour day is usually three or four wineries with lunch somewhere in the middle. We will suggest an order that avoids the coach parties and keeps the driving short between stops, then let you run it at whatever pace the day takes.
What we run on the North Fork

Jamesport, Cutchogue, Southold and Peconic. Three or four stops, booked by the hour so nobody is watching a clock.
Greenport and the ferries
Into the village, or to the Shelter Island ferry and back.

Weddings and events
North Fork weddings are often spread across a vineyard, a village hotel and a handful of rentals. Moving guests between them is the part that goes wrong; we schedule it as one job with one contact rather than as separate cars.
